Syrian Desert, Palmyra, this is referred to by the amazing ruins
which stand solemnly to narrate the heroic history during the rule
of its queen, Zanobia. Lunch is there. Watching the sunset from its
high castle. Attending a folkloric fest in the evening
(Optional). Dinner then resting. |
Day3 |
| Breakfast. Heading toward Hama to visit Ebla which more
than 17 thousand fictile boards were found in its library. These
boards are considered the first written documents in old Syria and
started to change the way of reading the history of the area. Having
lunch and then Going to Aleppo which was the capital of all
the kingdoms which ruled it: The Hittites, the Assyrian and the
Arab. It was an important centre for trade where the merchants of
Venice were aiming it for this reason. It still has a market called
the market of Venice. Visiting markets and the inns (The Perfumers
market, Goldsmith market, Coppersmith market, Aljomrok market,
Cotton market …etc.). Having dinner then resting. |
Day4 |
| Breakfast, Staying in Aleppo to visit the castle of Aleppo,
then Going for visiting Crac De Chevalier which its establishment date
is unknown. It witnessed many roles. It's considered an integral city
which sleeps about 5000 knights, their horses and supplies for 5
years. Lunch is at the castle. Heading toward Tartous, hotel check in, dinner then resting. |
Day5 |
| Breakfast. Touring the museum, then Going to visit Amrit which
is known by its old temple which is surrounded by water, and its big
stadium which was used for holding the games by the old Syrian. The
Greek resembled it and called the Olympic Games. Having lunch. Then,
going to Sydnaia which embraces the convent of Virgin Mary with its
famous icon which was drawn by Saint. Luke.
Moving
toward Qasyon Mountain to see Damascus sailing in the sunset. then
having dinner and resting.

thousand fictile boards were found in its library. These boards are
considered the first written documents in old Syria and started to
change the way of reading the history of the area. Lunch is at the
site. Dinner and resting in Hama. |

different successive civilizations. Lunch is there. Going to visit

were interested in it and called it Niatrajan Bostra. It was the
residence of Monk Bohiera who preached the Prophet Mouhammad. It
contains the famous roman theatre, arch of victory and the baths.
Then visiting Alswieda museum, Shahba castle in Shahba, the
birthplace of Philip, the roman emperor of Syrian origin, and Shahba
museum which contains mosaic portraits symbolize the old Greek
mythologies. Returning to Damascus. Dinner, then resting

Heading toward Alraqqa city which was built by Alexander the Great
in the 4th century B.C. Then visiting Alrasafa city which was called
Serjiopolis (the name of the roman leader Serj). Visiting Altabaqa
city to enjoy watching the Euphrates dam and its vast lake which
embraces Joa'bor castle and forming a unique portrait of harmony and
mix between the originality of the past, which the castle is talking
about, and the modernity of the present and its techniques
represented by the dam and its lake. Lunch is near the lake. Then
heading toward Aleppo to visit Souks and Khans. Dinner then resting. |
